Interior decorators do not usually have formal qualifications; they can handle basic tasks such as decorative schemes and de-cluttering. Interior Designers go through formal recognized training Organizations such as the Institute of Interior Design to obtain specific skills on The Elements and Principles of Design, Spatial Planning, Fitting Fixtures & Equipment Schedules and 3D Modelling on Sketchup. An Interior Designer can help you achieve the maximum functionality of a space and tackle each design component from the ground up as well as manage your project.

It is my job as an Interior Designer to work with you to achieve your own style and create your personal version of Paradise. I may have ideas but will never impose any particular style onto my clients.

Mood Boards are visual presentations of images, samples and objects that convey the look and feel of a design; they are used to define the direction of your Renovation or Project. Sample Boards are presentations of the actual furniture, paint selections, tiles, fabric and décor that will be used in the final Design. Sample boards are detailed and include a numbered system to indicate the product specifications, purchase details and pricing.

When choosing a designer you want to work with someone who you are comfortable with! There is nothing worse than trying to work with someone who you are afraid to ask questions or make adjustments to your design. If you feel comfortable & you are being heard then you have chosen correctly!

I do not offer a Home Staging service that provides furnishings. If you are Selling your furnished home and want Tips and Advice on how to prepare your home and Garden for sale, I will provide this advice as an Interior Consult.

My services are individually tailored to your needs; project management can be included for a fee if you wish for me to oversee and manage your entire renovation. I work with reputable tradespeople and can arrange your quotes, to insure sure your project runs smoothly from start to finish!
